What is Vroom?

Welcome to Vroom – the delivery experts. Whether you want restaurant takeout, fast food delivery, or an umbrella, we are the one-stop shop for all of your delivery needs. Think, Canadian Postmates. Vroom is not your everyday delivery service. We use reliable, professional, independent delivery contractors to ensure that each delivery arrives within an hour of the order placement. Hot meals, gift cards, luxury goods, all at the tip of your finger. You give us an address, we send you the goods. Sitting on your couch has never been easier.  

How do I place an order?

  1. Select a Category: Choose from a variety of store options like pharmacies, restaurants, and pet stores.
  2. Enter Your Postal Code: Click search and we’ll bring up any relevant stores near you!
  3. Pick a Store: Select any of the available options to find out what they have to offer. 
  4. Choose a Product: When you see something you like, click on it and add it to your cart. Then proceed to checkout and voila!
  5. Returning Members: Simply confirm your delivery and billing information and click on the « Place Your Order » button.

What happens after I submit my order?

Your order is sent electronically to the merchant the moment you click « Place Your Order ». When the merchant receives your order, you will receive an Order Confirmation email!

What do I do if I did not receive an email order confirmation?

  1. Confirm that you are receiving outside email.
  2. Check any spam folders on your email.
  3. Contact us to confirm that your email address is correct in our system at: vroom@uppster.com

How do I change or cancel my order after I have placed it?

To change or cancel an order, please call the merchant directly. The merchant’s phone number can be found in your email confirmation or by logging back onto the Vroom site. Once you have canceled or changed the order with the merchant, please notify us of the change or cancellation by responding to your order email confirmation.

Who should I call to check the status of my order?

Please call the merchant to find out the status of your order. If you are unable to reach them, or are unable to resolve your problem then feel free to contact one of our representatives at 888-601-1615.

What if I have a confirmation email, but the merchant
has no record of my order?

If that is the case, please call us at 1-888-601-1615. 

What if there is something wrong with my order after delivery?

In the case of merchant error, the merchant’s phone number is provided with your email confirmation and on the store’s page on the website. Otherwise, you can reach us at 888-601-1615.

How do I browse restaurants and local businesses?

To see what options are available for you, simply enter your postal code into the search bar and hit enter. This will display the list of businesses that are available to deliver to that address. Alternatively, you can see some of our partners on our home page. 

How do I use the order history?

To view all orders placed through Vroom, just click on your name in the upper-right of the screen, then select “Order History.” All of your Vroom orders will be stored here.

  • Viewing/printing receipts:
    To view a past order or print a copy of the receipt, please click on “View Receipt” next to the order. This will bring up a copy of the order for you to view or to print.
  • Reordering a past order:
    To re-order from order history, simply locate the desired order and click on the « Add to Bag » link on the right. For orders that we were unable to transfer your history, you can click on “View Menu”, create a new order and make some new history!

What is the fee for using Vroom?

Simple. It’s free.

Is there a minimum to order?

Order fees vary from merchant to merchant. Some may charge a small convenience fee. 

Can I save my credit card information?

Yes, to save your credit card information, you must check the box that is labeled « Save card details. » Then, when you place the order, that credit card information will be saved as the default credit card for future orders placed under your account.You can also click on your name located on the top right of the screen and enter your credit card information there. If you already saved a credit card information but would rather use a different one, click « Delete » then enter the new information.

How do I change my credit card information?

To change your credit card info, you need to go into “My Account” and click the “Delete” link, and then enter the new information.

When is my credit card processed?

Vroom will process your credit card when you place your order.

Is my credit card information secure?

You can safely enter your credit card number via our secure server, which encrypts all submitted information and transmits and stores such information in an encrypted state. Vroom uses Astral Internet to ensure all credit card data is transmitted and secured. Your credit card information is processed by Vroom and never shared with any restaurant.

How long does it take to deliver the order?

Vroom will make every attempt to coordinate a delivery as quickly as possible. In most cases, you can expect your food to arrive 30-55 minutes from the time you place your order. For other items, it will depend on the time you have requested. Please note that delivery times will vary on a number of circumstances, such as: weather and traffic conditions, distance from merchant location to destination, special events and order preparation time. Please remember that all of our participating merchants will be preparing your order to delivery. We strongly suggest customers order in advance whenever possible to ensure a specific delivery time.

What are the fees associated with delivery?

All orders are subject to a delivery fee and a processing fee. Delivery fees may vary depending on location, but there is a fixed rate of $3.99. Processing fees can also vary based on the merchant. Orders placed manually, either over the telephone with one of our customer service representatives, or via a 3rd party ordering portal, are subject to a $3.00 Call Center Fee.

How much should I tip for delivery?

Most of the time, the delivery people are paid between 10% and 20% of the total order.

How do I redeem a promotion code/coupon?

If you received a special promotion code, you can enter your promotion code in the « Promotion Code » box right before you check out in the right hand column of the website and click « Apply ». Discounts and promotion codes on Seamless can’t be combined-only one discount may be applied per order.

I forgot my username/password, what do I do?

Your username is usually the email address that you first registered with.

To reset your password, click on the « Forgot Password » link in the sign-in form. You will need to enter your registered email address and then you will receive an email from Seamless that allows you to reset your password.To receive a username reminder, click on the « Forgot Username » link in the Sign In form. You will need to enter your registered email address and then you will receive an email from Vroom with any username(s) associated with your email address.

What if I have a corporate Vroom account through my bussiness?

If you are an Vroom corporate member, you should use your company’s email address.

Can I have two Vroom accounts with the same email address?

No. Since the email address serves as the login name for your account, you are only allowed to have one Vroom account assigned to an email address. To have another account, you need to register another email address.

Can I save special delivery instructions to my address?

Yes you can. When checking out, you’ll have the option to save any delivery instructions to that address.

Can I have multiple delivery addresses associated with one account?

Yes, as a returning user, simply enter a new address on the homepage, and upon checkout, the new address will automatically save to your profile.To manage your saved addresses, visit the addresses page.

Is it possible that some merchants do not deliver in my area?

All merchants’ service areas are determined by each individual merchant. When browsing by neighborhood instead of a specific address, there is a chance that a merchant does not deliver to your specific address. If you enter a specific address on the homepage, then you will be brought to all businesses that do deliver to you.

Where did all these restaurant ratings and reviews come from?

All the ratings and reviews come from Vroom users that has already ordered from that merchant. If you have opinions about any merchant listed on the site, please do rate and review them. Selected reviews will be posted on the site.

How do I share my opinion about a particular restaurant?

There are many opportunities throughout the ordering process to add your rating and review of a restaurant. Wherever you see a restaurant’s rating displayed, logged in users will be able to click on it to add a rating and write a review.

Why you don’t have certain merchant on your list?

Vroom is a demand-based system designed to bring you a wide variety of the best delivery merchant in your area. If there is a merchant you know and you think would be a good addition, just suggest it to us and we’ll do our best to add them on.

Can I just go and pick up my order?

The ordering process is the same as a standard Vroom delivery order – enter your starting address, choose from the merchant available for pickup, add items to your order from the menu, checkout and pay with your credit card, then go get your order. You will need to bring your ID when picking up your order.

How do I make an order for future delivery or pick-up?

On the Order Confirmation page, click “Delivery/Take-Out Time” and change the date and time you want to have your order ready. For large orders, we always recommend to make the order at least 1 business day in advance.

What about my satisfaction about the delivery service or the merchant?

All Sales are final and no reimbursement. Vroom will make every effort to make sure you are satisfied with our service and your order. Vroom requires all participating merchants to package your order accordingly. Courier will NOT open the packaging to verify the accuracy of your order.

Can I purchase a Gift Card?

Absolutely! Gift cards from Vroom make great gifts! Instead of purchasing a gift card from a certain business, purchase one from Vroom and let your loved one choose from any of our merchant partners!
